Nestled deep in the scenic Allegheny Mountains of West Virginia, Cheat Mountain Club offers a unique blend of rustic elegance, outdoor recreation, and timeless hospitality. Our historic lodge, crafted from hand-hewn spruce logs and furnished with hardrock maple, exudes warmth and comfort from the moment you arrive. The inviting Great Room—centered around a grand stone fireplace—is the perfect place to relax, visit with friends, or enjoy a quiet moment with a book.

Cheat Mountain Club comfortably sleeps up to 23 guests. Accommodations include the spacious Spruce Room featuring a king-size bed and private bath, as well as eight additional guest rooms with a mix of queen- and twin-size beds. The third-floor dormitory offers one king-size and four twin beds, with gracious shared men’s and women’s bathrooms located on the second floor in traditional country club style.

Guests are treated to three hearty, homemade meals daily. Our menu includes rustic favorites like freshly baked breads, cookies, and grill-fired dinners—plus lighter, health-conscious options to suit every taste.
